Káli Birtok is an ideal choice for couples, families or groups of friends who would like to slow down for a few days, recharge, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Balaton Uplands. The house offers comfortable accommodation for 4 + 2 guests, away from the noise of the city, yet still close to local sights, hiking routes and gastronomic experiences.
Here, mornings begin with birdsong, sunsets paint the hills in golden light, and evenings welcome you with true silence.

Local breakfast, delivered fresh to your door
Our guests can enjoy the Breakfast Basket (Kosaras Reggeli) service from Levendula Porta in Kékkút, available all year round. The baskets are filled with breakfasts made from local farm ingredients and homemade products, so your day can begin comfortably, yet with real flavours from the Káli Basin.
The breakfast is delivered directly to the guesthouse and placed by the gate in the morning, so guests can collect their basket calmly and conveniently, without the need for personal coordination.
The selection includes traditional, lactose-free, gluten-free and meat-free breakfast options. Extra cheese, wine, milk and other special requests can also be added. Breakfast baskets are prepared for a minimum of 2 people, but other group sizes can also be arranged.
Ordering information and the necessary link will be sent in the booking confirmation email. Please let us know about your breakfast request at least 2 days in advance whenever possible.

Pet-friendly accommodation
Your four-legged companions are warmly welcome at Káli Birtok. The property is surrounded by wildlife fencing, so pets can move around the estate safely and freely. At the same time, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that foxes and other small wild animals live in the area, so we cannot completely rule out that they may occasionally enter the property.
Please do not feed or pet the foxes. We make sure they have access to water during hot weather.
About us
This holiday home is the fulfilment of a long-held dream. We have designed everything in a way that would make us feel truly comfortable here ourselves, even for a longer stay. Of course, a project like this is never completely finished. 🙂
Privacy is important to us, so check-in and check-out are contactless. Nevertheless, we are always available for our guests whenever needed. Cleanliness and order are also very important to us, and we are confident that our guests will notice this during their stay.

The area offers wonderful places to explore, whether you are looking for a short walk or a longer hike. The spectacular Hegyestű Geological Site, with its unique basalt columns and panoramic views, can be reached by car in about 15–20 minutes. The volcanic hills, walking trails and natural sights of the Káli Basin are also easy to discover from here.

There is a restaurant and a small grocery shop in the village, only 2 minutes away by car, making it easy and convenient to enjoy a nice dinner, a light lunch or pick up a few essentials.

The shore of Lake Balaton can be reached by car in just 12 minutes, so a quick swim, a peaceful lakeside walk or a sunset beach visit can easily fit into your day.

Káptalantóti can be reached by car in only 14 minutes. The village is surrounded by vineyards, volcanic witness hills and beautiful panoramic views, making it an ideal choice for a short trip or a relaxed afternoon programme.
Csobánc Castle
Csobánc Castle is a spectacular hiking destination in the Balaton Uplands, only 15–20 minutes away by car. The hike up to the castle ruins takes about 2 hours at a relaxed pace, and from the top you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views over the Káli Basin, the volcanic hills and the Lake Balaton region.

Káli Birtok is accessible via a gravel road, which is suitable for regular cars and can be used comfortably throughout the year. Parking is available on the property in an uncovered parking area, with enough space for several vehicles. Please note that electric vehicle charging is not available.
